WBJ: PGNiG signs zł.3 billion contract

PGE Górnictwo i Energetyka Konwencjonalna (PGE GiEK), a subsidiary of Poland's largest utility PGE, has signed a contract with gas giant PGNiG for the delivery of natural gas to a new combined cycle gas unit at the Gorzów power plant. The estimated net value of the contract is zł.3 billion.

The contract will be valid for 20 years starting from the launch of the new unit. PGE signed an agreement for its construction with Siemens on Thursday. The facility will have a power generation capacity of 138 MW and a heat generation capacity of 90 MW. PGE will pay zł.562 million for the construction.  MORE
