Platts: Qatargas Reaches Agreement with Trafigura to Supply LNG to Jordan

Qatari supplier Qatargas has reached an agreement with energy trader Trafigura to supply LNG cargoes to Jordan's National Electric Power Company (NEPCO), an informed source said Friday.

"Qatar will back up Trafigura for the Jordan tenders," he said.

Trafigura is going to deliver one of the two October cargoes NEPCO awarded in a tender that closed August 18, with validity until August 20, several sources said this week.
