Poland: Tight Gas Resources to be Evaluated

The Polish Geological Institute (PiG) and US Geological Survey (USGS) plan to draft a report on Polish recoverable tight gas resources.

Speaking to PAP, PiG director Jerzy Nawrocki said PIG had not started official talks to this effect with the USGS.

"USGS deputy head of geological security department Douglas Duncan is currently in Poland. We want to talk to him about further cooperation in the evaluation of potential tight gas reserves," said Nawrocki.
