Private Sector Gas Business China Tian Lun Gas Holdings Reports Over 200% Rise in Q1 Gas Sales

China Tian Lun Gas Holdings Ltd.’s total gas sales volume for the first quarter increased 214.04 percent on year to 248,280,000 cubic metres.

The privately owned domestic urban gas business covers urban gas operation, refilling stations operation, LNG plants and long-haul pipelines. It has presence across China.

The company on Monday said residential users accounted for about 47,630,000 cubic metres, representing an increase of about 75.82 percent as compared with the corresponding period of 2015. Industrial and commercial users accounted for about 122,410,000 cubic metres, representing an increase of about 314.11 percent as compared with the corresponding period of 2015.

Vehicle users accounted for about 27,210,000 cubic metres, representing an increase of approximately 21.42 percent as compared with the corresponding period of 2015. Urban gas users accounted for approximately 51,040,000 cubic metres, while there was no such business in the corresponding period in 2015.

In addition, the gas distribution volume of gas pipeline operation of the group for the three months ended 31 March was approximately 166,330,000 cubic metres, while there was no such business in the corresponding period in 2015.
