Proactive Investors: Cott Oil and Gas vies for Pandora LNG development pathway
Cott Oil and Gas is looking to progress development of its Pandora Gas Field offshore Papua New Guinea by developing a working group that includes potential owner-operators, contractors and adjoining licensees.
Pandora has a Best Estimate Contingent Resource of circa 800 billion cubic feet of gas with previous licence holders have suggested it could host 1.3 trillion cubic feet of in-place gas.
The company had last month confirmed the technical and commercial feasibility of a floating liquefied natural gas development for the project.
This could produce between 1 million tonne per annum to 2.5Mtpa of LNG depending on the option chosen.
Pandora also has the potential to act as an LNG hub if the near-shore LNG option is chosen. MORE
