PTT to Construct Two LNG Warehouses

PTT, Thailand's largest energy conglomerate, plans to construct two LNG warehouses with total capacity of 25 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to meet rising demands in the country, Bernama said citing Thai News Agency (TNA).

The two warehouses are expected to be complete by 2020. and would meet the 20-year Power Development Plan (PDP) of the Thai government, TNA said.

Charcrie Buranakanonda, vice president of PTT, said construction of the two LNG warehouses could help the country address the issue as natural gas production in Thailand would be dwindling by then.
