PTTEP's Bongkot South to Start producing Gas
PTT Exploration and Production (PTTEP) will start producing gas in the Bongkot South block next week, three months earlier than expected, Bangkok Post reported Saturday.
The gas will be transported to Thailand via a national gas pipeline, with the first gas likely to come next week.
The company also plans to develop floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) in Australia's Cash and Maple field near the Montara block.
FLNG is expected to see commercial production in 2016 with output of 2 million tonnes a year for the Thai market.
