Qatar to Supply LNG to Turkey

Qatar may sell 2 million tonne of LNG annually to Turkey in the future as the two countries move towards closer cooperation in the field of energy.

The Emirate currently sells LNG to Turkey’s state pipeline operator Boru Hatlari ile Petrol Tasima (Botas), and privately held Egegaz. Qatar also plans energy investments in Turkey, Gulf Times reported.

Prospects of Qatar Petroleum co-operating with leading Turkish energy firms brightened as Qatari officlas held talks with the country’s top officials and executives.
