Qatar Tribune: LNG deal foundation for long-term ties with Qatar: Polish Envoy

A 30-member Polish trade delegation was in Qatar recently to explore business opportunities in the country. The delegation, led by Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Katarzyna Kacperczyk, represented sectors like construction, transport, food & agriculture, ICT, pharmaceutical & medical and furniture. The Polish businessmen interacted with their Qatari counterparts during forums organised by Qatari Businessmen Association and Qatar Chamber. Ambassador of Poland to Qatar HE Krzysztof Suprowicz spoke to Qatar Tribune's Satyendra Pathak on efforts being made by the Polish Embassy to bring the business communities of the two countries closer. Q: What was the main aim of Polish trade team's visit to Qatar?

A: This is the second time that a Polish trade team has visited Qatar. The main purpose of the visit was to bring business communities of the two countries closer. It is not that Polish businessmen are trying to discover Qatar. We discovered Qatar's economic potential many years ago. What we want from Qatar is to discover Poland. We want the Qatari business community to open their eyes wide to the vast business and investment opportunities in Poland. MORE
