Rasgas delivers LNG to Turkey
Qatar's Rasgas delivered a spot cargo of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Turkey's Aliaga Terminal via the private energy firm EgeGaz, the company said Sunday.
The shipment is the first cargo delivered to EgeGaz using the smaller Q-Flex tanker.
The Rasgas LNG fleet currently contains 27 vessels, including one Q-Max tanker with a cargo-carrying capacity of 266,000 cubic meters and 12 Q-Flex tankers that have a capacity of between 210,000 and 217,000 cubic meters.
Qatar is the world's leading exporter of LNG exporter, with an annual production capacity of 77 million tonnes.
