Rawson Resources Raises A$750,000 to Fund PNG Exploration

Rawson Resources has raised approx. A$750,000 to fund early stage exploration efforts across its Papua New Guinea (PNG) exploration portfolio, which includes PPL 549, PPL 391 and APPL’s 550 and 560.  

Via its majority owned subsidiary Dondonald, Rawson has secured a capital investment of approx. A$750,000 from a group of resident PNG investors. This transaction sees these investors subscribe for a 33 percent stake in Dondonald.

Upon completion of the capital investment the ownership interests of Dondonald will be: Rawson Resources – 60 percent, PNG Investors – 33 percent and Moira shareholders – 7 percent.

Rawson is building a high impact oil and gas portfolio in Papua New Guinea while continuing to commercialise its existing assets in the Cooper and Otway basins in Australia.
