APA: Roland Cobia: “Old proposals must conform to new scenarios for realization of Nabucco”

Nabucco consortium holds talks with Azerbaijani government, head of EU representation in Azerbaijan, Ambassador Roland Cobia said at the press conference. 

He noted that, Nabucco project was still on the agenda: “the talks aim to change the conception of project. There are many proposals. Naturally, the proposals change the game and it means that, old proposals must conform to the new scenarios”. 

He noted that, even though Nabucco was not accepted, the agreements around it would be used: “it’s planned to transport a large amount of gas to Europe. There are several proposals to transport Shah Deniz gas top Europe on the table and all of them are considered”.  MORE
