Russian Novatek Sees Output Up

Russian independent producer Novatek reported a year-on-year 5.2% increase in its Q3 hydrocarbon output October 10, comprising 18.31bn m³ of gas and 3mn mt of condensate and crude. In the first nine months, gas output was about three times that, at 55.88bn m³.

Gas output has not risen much this year, as its Yamal LNG trains came on line some time ago. Total hydrocarbons produced for the three quarters were up 39.1mn barrels of oil equivalent, or 9.7% year on year.

Preliminary third quarter 2019 natural gas sales volumes, including volumes of LNG sold, added up to 16.70bn m³, up 7.1% as compared with the corresponding period in 2018. Of that, domestic sales were 13.66bn m³ and the other 3.04bn m³ were sold abroad as LNG , 252 thousand tons of jet fuel and 312,000 metric tons of fuel oil and gasoil. Novatek sold 1.265mn mt of crude oil and 489,000 mt of stable gas condensate.
