RWE Looking to Enter Polish Shales

Bloomberg reports that the exploration unit of RWE Dea AG, Germany’s second-largest utility, is in talks about partnerships in shale gas exploration projects in Poland.

“We’re interested in becoming a minority shareholder,” said Uwe Balasus-Lange, the German company’s general manager for new ventures, declining to name the companies that RWE is talking to.
