Saipem bags $325mn Norwegian drill contract
Italy's Saipem has won a $325mn contract from Aker BP for an offshore drilling campaign in Norway, the contractor said on March 17.
Operations under the contract will start at the end of 2022, after Saipem's Scarabeo 8 semisubmersible rig has completed its existing workload. The contract will run for three years, two one-year extensions possible. Saipem previously worked for Aker BP in 2018.
