Saipem Names New CFO

Italian engineering contractor Saipem appointed a new CFO, it said October 1.

With announces from November 15, Stefano Cavacini will take over the post. Saipem had announced September 13 that the incumbent Giulio Bozzini would be leaving the company on October 15. During the month-long gap after that, the CFO role will be assumed on an interim-basis by chief executive Stefano Cao.

Cavacini is currently CFO of Italian pharmaceutical company Zambon, prior to which he had similar roles at other Italian companies Esaote (biomedical appliances) and Indesit (washing machines and other domestic appliances) and before that at a Fiat auto-making joint venture.
