San Leon Gains Major Backing
San Leon Energy plc. has gained the backing of two significant investors, Quantum Partners LP, a private investment fund managed by Soro Fund Management and Blackrock Investment Management (UK) Limited, holding stakes in the company of 22.62. and 10.09 percent respectively.
Quantum has earlier made purchases in two other companies searching for shale gas in Europe; a CDN $66 million investment in BNK Petroleum and a CDN $6 million investment in Realm Energy International.
