ExxonMobil sees SE Asian demand for natural gas tripling to 125 billion cubic ft per day by 2030.

Natural gas and coal will continue to be the main energy sources for the region and expansion in Australia and Papua New Guinea in LNG exports will be the main driver.

The region’s energy demand in transportation is also seen doubling by 2030 due to a rapid rise in car and truck fleet, aviation and marine activities.
