Senex Energy, Shell sign gas deal in Australia
Senex Energy on December 13 announced a domestic gas sales agreement with Shell Energy Australia for the supply of 8 petajoules of natural gas over four years.
Under the four-year agreement starting in 2022, Senex will supply the gas at the Wallumbilla Hub in Queensland at a fixed price in “line with current market levels”, it said.
Shell Energy provides business energy solutions across a portfolio of gas, electricity, environmental products and energy productivity solutions to commercial and industrial customers in Australia.
On December 13, South Korea’s Posco International agreed to acquire Senex for A$885mn ($610mn).
