SFP Group raise €120mn for biomethane plants in Netherlands

The Dutch SFP Group has raised €120mn ($131.2mn) to fund the construction of two 20 MW biomethane plants in the Netherlands, it announced on July 16.

The financing was provided by ABN Amro Bank, ING Bank, Zencap Asset Management, and Swen Capital Partners, with Longspur Capital serving as the financial advisor.

These new projects will boost the company's production capacity, increasing it to 800 GWh/year of biomethane. This output is sufficient to supply over 50,000 households with biomethane, according to the company.
