Shana: Tehran, Baku to Expand Oil, Gas Cooperation

TEHRAN, Aug 03 (Shana) – Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi on Tuesday underlined expansion of the Iran-Azerbaijan cooperation in the oil and gas sectors and in the Caspian Sea.

Speaking in a meeting with Azeri President Ilham Aliyev on Tuesday, Vaezi conveyed the warm greetings of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to Aliyev and said the Azeri President shoulders a grave role in expansion of friendship between Iran and Azerbaijan.

The two sides also exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in transportation, investment, financial and banking sectors, agriculture, tourism and health.
