Shearwater Bags India ONGC Contract
Shearwater GeoServices has been awarded a 3D broadband marine seismic acquisition contract by Indian state-run ONGC in the Western Offshore India area, the company said on December 21 without disclosing the value of the contract.
The four-month campaign covers two areas some 2,800 km2 in size in the Arabian Sea off the west coast of India. Shearwater plans to use the SW Duchess and SW Vespucci for the surveys. The project is scheduled to start in Q1 2021.
