Shell resumes cargoes from Prelude FLNG
Shell on January 19 said it had resumed shipping LNG cargoes from the Prelude floating LNG facility offshore Australia following a temporary shutdown.
“LNG cargoes have resumed from Shell’s Prelude floating liquified natural gas facility following a temporary technical outage in December 2022,” the company said in a statement.

Shell had stopped gas production at the facility after a fire incident. The 3.6mn metric tons/year Prelude FLNG is majority owned by Shell with a 67.5% stake. Other shareholders are Japan's Inpex, Korea Gas Corp and Taiwan's CPC Corp.
