Sichuan Meifeng, Sinopec to Jointly Work in LNG Sector

Sichuan Meifeng has signed joint venture cooperation framework agreement with Sinopec for development and application of liquefied natural gas (LNG) technology. The venture will be involved in production and sale of LNG and other clean energy.

As per the agreement, both parties will jointly set up Sichuan Shuangrui Energy in Chengdu, initial cooperation project is Langzhong City and Bazhong City liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects.

Sichuan Meifeng will have 51% stake in the joint venture while the rest 49% will be owned by Sinopec.
