Sino Oil and Gas Holdings Gets Approval for China CBM Project Development Plan
Sino Oil and Gas Holdings Limited Monday it has got government nod for the overall development plan (ODP) of its Shanxi Sanjiao CBM project.
China’s NDRC has approved the project plan. State owned China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) is a partner in the project which is located in Ordos Basin.
Sino Oil, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Orion Energy International, had entered into a production sharing contract with PetroChina, for exploration, utilisation and production of the CBM field in the Sanjiao block, located in the Ordos Basin in Shanxi and Shaanxi provinces.
The approval signifies that the Sanjiao CBM project will soon, in accordance with the ODP, commence the sizable development and production with an annual capacity of 500 million cubic meters, the company stated.
Sino Oil and Gas Holdings Limited is principally engaged in natural gas and oil exploration and extraction with a focus on CBM.
