Sinopec’s Qingdao terminal unloads 1st Qatari cargo

State-run Sinopec’s Qingdao terminal in Shandong province has received its first cargo of Qatari LNG, Reuters reported on April 5 citing a statement by Shanghai Petroleum and Natural Gas Exchange.

The 205,000 m3 cargo is part of the 10-year supply deal Sinopec penned with Qatar Petroleum in March last year for annual supplies of 2mn metric tons, or roughly 2.8bn m3, starting this year, Reuters said.
