Snam opens Italian motorway filling-station
Italian gas infrastructure operator Snam has opened a natural gas and biomethane refuelling station on the Brenner motorway, it said April 12. It is planning openings in the coming weeks in Abruzzo, Lombardy, Marche and Piedmont.
It was working with Tamoil Italia, whose service station hosts the plant and it further expands the supply of natural gas along the A22 although this is the first one involving both these companies.
"Snam4Mobility will continue to invest to allow alternative and sustainable fuels such as CNG, LNG, biomethane, bio-LNG and hydrogen to promote the decarbonisation of mobility for cars, commercial vehicles, heavy transport and local public transport," said Snam's subsidiary.
