Sound Oil Has Successful Flow Rate From Casa Tiberi Well

Italy- and Indonesia- focused Sound Oil has confirmed that it has completed successfully testing of its Casa Tiberi-1 well in central Italy, with a flow rate of 0.28 MMscfd.

The Casa Tiberi-1 well is located in Falconara, Ancona. Sound Oil is the operator of the well through its wholly owned subsidiary Appenine Energy. The company has a 100 per cent stake in the Casa Tiberi-1 well.

The well flowed at a rate of 280,000 standard cubic feet per day (8,000 standard cubic metres per day) through a on a 8/64ths inch choke with a flowing tubing head pressure of 54 bar.

Sound Oil will now analyse the results and review those with the relevant authorities.
