Cape Times: Expert Team to Examine Fracking Impact (South Africa)

All the experts involved in the R12.5 million government-appointed Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) into the pros and cons of fracking met for the first time this week to agree on the range of topics that would be examined in the two-year study.

Study leader Bob Scholes of Wits University and the CSIR, said it was the largest, most diverse group of skilled experts that had ever teamed up to examine one issue in South Africa.
