Star Africa: South African Leader Visits Mozambique to Discuss Bilateral Cooperation

South African President Jacob Zuma, is expected in Mozambique on Wednesday at the invitation of his Mozambican counterpart, Filipe Nyusi, the presidency has said.

According to diplomatic sources, high on the agenda of the talks will be economic issues and cooperation.

South Africa needs to increase the quantity of natural gas and electrical energy imports from Mozambique to reduce the worst energy crisis, characterized by constant and prolonged load shedding in most of the country’s productive sectors.
