Focus: Kommersant: South Stream cannons into Bulgaria’s politics
Resignation of Bulgaria’s pro-Moscow government may be a serious problem for Russian giant Gazprom and the South Stream gas pipeline project, comments Kommersant newspaper.
Until October, the Balkan country will be governed by an interim cabinet, which will not have enough authorities to make serious decision, while it is possible for the interim government to shift the power to a pro-European official one.
As a result of the political situation in Bulgaria, Gazprom risks being unable to launch the South Stream by the end of 2015.
