State Gas Spuds 2nd Queensland Well
Sydney-listed State Gas on December 30 spudded the second well in the phase-two exploration programme at its 100%-owned Reid’s Dome gas project in Queensland, it said on the same day.
The Nyanda-8 well has already reached a depth of 248 m, with gas being detected from 151 m, the company said.

Reid's Dome is situated at the PL231 permit in the Bowen basin in central Queensland, and aims to bring gas to the Australian east coast market. State Gas drilled the first well in the programme earlier this month.
