Abc.Az: TAP begins alienating land in Greece under its track

Consortium TAP AG to build the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), starts alienating land in Greece for the route of a gas pipeline for Azerbaijani gas.

According to the consortium, its sub-contractors in Greece are currently updating the cadastral data concerning the ownership and use of land parcels, affected by the pipeline project. The process of specifying began from 7 July and will end on 8 August. It involves the territory of about 25 Greek municipalities.

TAP pipeline will be constructed on the scheme 10+10 to provide transportation of 10 bn cu m of Azerbaijani gas to the EU a year with the possibility of increasing the supply of an additional 10 bn cu m. The gas pipeline will reach its full capacity on 31 December 2022.
