Texas LNG secures key offtake agreement
Texas LNG Brownsville has signed another Heads of Agreement (HoA) with a "highly experienced, investment-grade, global LNG player" for a long-term LNG sale and purchase agreement, it announced on September 11.
With this deal, the 4mn tonnes/year Texas LNG project has now secured sufficient customer offtake commitments to reach its final investment decision. The new agreement builds on existing deals with EQT Corporation, Gunvor Group, and Macquarie Group.
