The President and CEO of PTT Plc Pailin Chuchottaworn said the company is planning to construct two Floating Storage and Regasification Units (FSRU) with each having 3 million tons capacity.

The FSRU will be constructed at two locations, Chana district in Songkhla province, and at another location which could be at the Dawei district in Thailand or the Pilok town in Myanmar. The unit that is expected to come up in Myanmar is awaiting approval from local authorities.

Construction is expected take three years.
