Tokyo Gas to Buy Stake in Ichthys LNG

Inpex has reportedly agreed to sell around 1.6% of its stake in Ichthys LNG project to Tokyo Gas.

The moves will also give Tokyo Gas shares in natural gas liquefaction and LNG marketing company, Ichthys LNG.

Inpex has alreday agreed to sell Osaka Gas a 1.2 percent equity in the project and Toho Gas a 0.42 percent stake.

After the deal, Inpex will have close to 75% stake in the project with Total holding the remaining 24%.
