TotalEnergies closes sale of Gabon assets
TotalEnergies has closed the sale of non-strategic assets in Gabon to Anglo-French group Perenco for $350mn, the company announced on December 8.
The major's TotalEnergies E&P Gabon subsidiary has divested from seven mature offshore fields already operated by Perenco, and has also sold its 100% interest and operatorship of the Cap Lopez oil terminal. The assets in question netted TotalEnergies' Gabon unit 8,400 barrels of oil equivalent/day in the first nine months of this year.

TotalEnergies E&P Gabon is 58.3% owned by TotalEnergies, 25% by the Gabonese Republic and 16.7% by private sector investors. It has sold its 65.3% interests in the Grondin, Gonelle, Barbier, Mandaros, Girelle, Pageau and Hylia fields.
