TTF down 9.5% on Oct 29
The December gas delivery contract at the Dutch TTF hub is down 9.5% on October 29 from the previous trading session, at €70.1/MWh, or approximately $870/'000 m3.
The contract also fell 11% on October 28 to €77.35/MWh, after Russian president Vladimir Putin signalled on the previous evening that Gazprom would ramp up gas supplies to Europe after filling Russia's own storage facilities with gas on November 8.
Wholesale gas and power prices in Europe have spiked in recent weeks as a result of rebounding global demand and supply constraints.
