Turkey, Algeria Extend LNG Deal
Turkey and Algeria have extended their current four billion cubic meter a year LNG import agreement for another 10 years.
Anadolu Agncy reported that the decision was taken during the meeting between Turkey’s Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz, who is visiting Algeria, and Algeria's Minister of Energy and Mines Youcef Yousfi.
Yousfi said that if there was an increase in natural gas production of Algeria, they could rise the volume of natural gas to 6 billion cubic meters for Turkey, Agency report said.
