Turkey Keen On Securing Qatari Gas Supplies

Turkey is keen on securing gas supplies from Qatar to meets its energy demand, media reports said citing country's energy and natural resources minister Taner Yildiz.

He said that Turkey is looking at many countries along with Qatar to get gas supplies at reasonable price.

The country plans to purchase 3 billion cubic meters of natural gas from Qatar this year if the two countries agree on the price.
