Bloomberg: EON Said to Work With Bank of America on North Sea Sale

EON SE, Germany’s largest utility, is working with Bank of America Corp. on the potential sale of its North Sea assets, people with knowledge of the matter said.

The assets, which are in the U.K. and Norway, may fetch about $2 billion, the people said, asking not to be identified as the information is private. While a formal sale process is yet to begin, the portfolio may get interest from both private-equity firms and strategic buyers, the people said.
