NGE Notes: Ukraine Continues Talks on Shale Gas

Foreign Minister of Ukraine Kostyantyn Hryshchenko said during a Question Hour of the Government that Ukraine continues talks with international energy companies on shale gas.

And if the preliminary findings of experts are confirmed, the Minister said, production of shale gas in Ukraine may start in the nearest few years, reports NCRU.

Earlier, Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Yuriy Boiko said that Ukraine, implementing projects on shale gas, will take into account the experience of the United States.
