Ukrgasdobycha, Chevron Discuss Shale Gas

Ukrgasdobycha, a subsidiary of NAK Naftogas Ukrayny, is in discussion with the representatives of Chevron Corporation on potential unconventional gas exploration and production projects on the fields specified by Chevron, according to an Ukrgasdobycha press release.

Chevron representatives expressed great interest in development of shale gas projects in Ukraine.

Ukrainian Energy reports that following the initial discussions, it was decided that parties are going to develop further plans for joint implementation and investment strategy.
