UK's Deltic Energy attains carbon neutral certification

London-listed Deltic Energy, a natural resources investing company with a development portfolio focused on the Southern North Sea, on January 3 announced its certification as a carbon-neutral business by Carbon Neutral Britain.

Carbon Neutral Britain assessed Deltic's Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions for the 12 months ended on October 31, 2023. The evaluation resulted in the certification of Deltic Energy as a carbon-neutral business, with 100% of corporate emissions offset through independently verified carbon-offsetting projects.

"Deltic takes its obligations to the environment seriously, and this independent audit of our corporate greenhouse gas emissions footprint and Carbon Neutral Certification is an important step in that process," Graham Swindells, CEO of Deltic Energy, said.

The carbon-neutral certification will require renewal on an annual basis.
