Uzbek Gas Boosts Lukoil's Output
Lukoil's average January-September hydrocarbon production – excluding West Qurna-2 in Iraq – was 2.3mn barrels of oil equivalent/day, up 3.7% on the same period last year. Of that, gas production was 24.6bn m³, which is 19.2% higher year-on-year, thanks mainly to projects in Uzbekistan, the largest Russian independent oil producer said. In the third quarter of 2018 gas production was 8.5bn m³ m³, 3.6% up quarter-on-quarter in average daily terms.
