Uzbekistan Boosts Lukoil's Gas
Russia's largest privately held oil producer Lukoil produced 4% more oil and gas last year, excluding the Iraqi West Qurna-2 field, it said February 4. The increase was mainly driven by the development of gas projects in Uzbekistan in the latter part of the year.

In 2018 Lukoil produced 33.5bn m3, which was 16% higher year-on-year. In the fourth quarter of 2018 gas production was 8.9bn m3 or up 5% quarter-on-quarter.
The main driver of gas production growth was the development of projects in Uzbekistan. As a result of the launch of new gas treatment facilities, the Group's share in production at Kandym and Gissar projects in 2018 rose to 13.4bn m3. That was 67% higher year-on-year.
