Vision RNG to develop three landfill RNG facilities in SE US

Vision RNG said March 26 it had entered into definitive agreements to develop and operate landfill gas (LFG) to renewable natural gas (RNG) facilities at three privately-owned landfills in Alabama and Tennessee.

The three projects combined will produce more than 1mn mnBtu/year of RNG, which will be injected into nearby natural gas transmission systems to meet demand in the transportation market or to replace fossil gas.

With the addition of the three new projects, Vision RNG will have a total of 15 RNG projects in its portfolio, producing more than 5.6mn mnBtu/year of RNG, with the ability to expand this output to 6.5mn mnBtu/year by 2029.
