Yamal Pipeline to Provide Third Party Access
Third-party access to the Polish section of the Yamal pipeline will likely occur this upcoming fall.
Rzeczpospolita cites Jan Chadam, the CEO of state gas pipeline operator Gaz-System, which is taking over the supervision over the pipeline from the PGNiG and Gazprom which held a monopoly position.
The change in control was mandated by EU policy regulating the ownership of natural gas transmission networks by forcing companies to separate their supply and production activities.
