Aussie LNG export revenue hits new record in August: EnergyQuest
Australian LNG export revenue increased in August to a new record of A$7.52bn ($5bn), up from a record A$7.13bn in July and up 58% year/year, energy consultant EnergyQuest said on September 19.
The country exported 6.66mn metric tons of LNG in August, up 7.4% month/month. Overall, Australia’s August shipments were 78.4mn mt/year on an annualised basis.

West coast shipments increased to 4.7mn mt in August versus 4.5mn mt in July. A year ago, the west coast shipped 5.3mn mt of LNG. Australian east coast LNG shipments increased to 1.9mn mt in August versus 1.7mn mt in July and 1.9mn mt a year ago.
