BH-Gas and BOTAS Sign MOU

Bosnian gas company BH-Gas and Turkish BOTAS have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to cooperate in gas purchases and transport.

The companies signed the MOU in Ankara on Thursday to cooperate on gas projects and further the existing business relationship between the two companies. 

BH-Gas and BOTAS, a subsidiary of Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO), will seek to open up transport routes to southeast Europe through Turkey and Bosnia Herzegovina. BOTAS will also aid BH-Gas in the purchase of gas supply from third parties as well as sharing information on the gas market.

The deal has been sanctioned by the government of the Federation of BiH and the Turkish government.
